we only cut corners where it feels right.
In a world as fast-paced as ours, the existence of our products is something a little special.
we make our fabrics and products in our neukölln studio in the centre of berlin. we use high-quality materials, beautiful natural fibres and create surfaces that feel soft and are designed to work with your individual body.
big knit industries don't match our quality, and they certainly don't produce as few items as we do. our small machine means we can make small quantities of very complex automatically knitted pieces that would be impossible to produce by hand, while being too tedious or costly to be mass produced.
we fill an interesting gap and allow for new ways to rethink one of the oldest clothing-making techniques in the history of humankind: knitting.

In order to work sustainably, most of our garments are individually made to order.
this way, we not only never overproduce and save resources, but also allow for customization.
many of our pieces are available in a variety of colours and materials and different surface shenanigans. our pieces only get produced a few times in their specific material and design combinations, as many of our designs stay fluid and change fundamentally while we further explore technical possibilities aligning with societal needs.

with the challenges the world (and the fashion industry) are currently facing, we are establishing ways to not only change how we think about consumerism, but products in general. we move slower on purpose, striving to move with sense and accountability, always giving us enough time to react with our best ethical motives in mind. -
we don’t know. but if you’re drawn to think like us, we would assume so.
we like to produce our fair fashion locally. with focus on design, knit innovation and constant exploration, we strive for pricing models that match the delicacy of our products, while staying affordable. -
we love natural fibres.
being aware of what feels good on the skin (and on our planet), we knit our garments from wool, cashmere, merino, camel, cotton and linen. whenever needed, we add slight percentages of synthetic fibres to extend the garment’s lifetime and allow for more comfort. -
using our automated knitting machine to do the “dirty work” allows our hands to invest more time into delicate finishing. our machine knits quite a bit faster than we could and speeds our design and development time up drastically. by no means would we be able to produce at this quality and price point, would we not use it.

everything is, kinda.
automated knitting means someone always has to code the script, troubleshoot the machine and work it. fortunately, even with our machine, knitting always involves hand making. every piece is finished by hand and includes production steps machines can’t do. so yes. everything here is made by humans. -

in our studio, we also showcase a wide range of possible surfaces, patterns and materials.
